Hi, well, my father made international calls via home phone and we don’t have an international calling plan. Now the phone bill came and it was ,100. Any tips on how we can lower the bill? It was with Qwest Washington. We are willing to pay but that is wayyyy too much and we can’t afford it. Exactly what should I say if I recall?
P.S. We already called & they said they cannot change the charges, what should we do? we can’t afford it. I told them about the rate if we went with their international calling plan but they said it was too late. They said they can’t bring it down.

You can always try calling back and speaking with a supervisor. However, don’t expect a lot. He DID make the calls.
In any case, ask about a payment plan.

Some people I know have very low cell phone bills. I’ve never really needed a cell phone, but I kind of want a cell phone now since it would be more convenient in some occasions and pretty much everyone has a cell phone now.
Anyways, do you just have to be a long time member to a carrier to get lower rates or something?

Just by picking the right plan, and by keeping tabs on how many minutes/ texts your using. But picking the right plan is the most important.

They unfortunately are very valid.
I got it from talking to my new g/f. I thought i had plenty of rollover minutes, but they obviously weren’t enough…Woops
